Forms Position at the Federal Reserve Board

Forms Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and production of Federal Reserve System reporting forms and internal Board forms. Establishes form design standards to create fillable PDFs. Redesigns and converts paper-based and PDF forms into intelligent, easy-to-use electronic forms, and provides routine maintenance and updates. Performs functionality and usability testing on completed forms to ensure effectiveness in meeting business process requirements. Provides technical review and assistance with forms design and communicates recommendations for improved business processes.

Must have experience applying electronic forms best practices, standards, and competencies. Must be proficient in gathering and verifying information; evaluating forms design requests; determining process methods for development of new forms and functional field needs; and revising or updating existing forms. Must have demonstrated knowledge and use of forms software (e.g., Adobe Livecycle Designer, Acrobat, InDesign, InfoPath). Experience with Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.2 developing fillable, accessible forms is required. A bachelor s degree, or extensive work experience, is preferred in web or graphic design or project management. Experience with forms design, development, and accessibility is required (at least three years preferred). Requires ability to effectively deal with all levels of staff. Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to provide quick turnaround. Knowledge of XML and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act highly desirable.
